Massage Therapy

Massage therapy at Wensy Rehab investigates the root cause of musculoskeletal dysfunctions and optimize the health of the muscular, nervous and circulatory systems. Here we use a blend of techniques and modalities but not limited to Myofascial Release, Neurokinetic Therapy, Medical Acupuncture, Anatomy in Motion, and Visceral Manipulation.

I was always certain of two things: I want to help people better themselves and, through my work, help them realize their potential. This led me to my undergrad in kinesiology at McMaster University where I cultivated my love for anatomy and human movement. My affinity to working with my hands eventually led me to become a RMT. Over the last 14 years of my practice, I’ve committed to deepening my understanding of the body and human movement through taking courses and workshops which have shaped my approach and given me valuable tools in helping my clients.

What sets me apart from traditional care is not what I do, it’s what I pay attention to. This is why I don’t rely on cookie-cutter methods when treating clients, rather my approach is attentive and intentional that focuses on the global picture of symptoms, compensations, and history being presented. My treatment approach combines hands-on modalities with movement-based solutions to help you take ownership of your health and provide you tools to stay pain-free. I use a blend of treatment modalities that may include myofascial release, craniosacral therapy, medical acupuncture, movement assessment, gait analysis, and visceral manipulation.

Whether you’re experiencing pain or limitations from post-surgery, occupational demands, postural compensations, sport injuries, pregnancy, don’t let a minor setback deter you from a major comeback!
